What data do we collect?

Auto Swiper collects the following data:

Account Information

• Email address (for account registration and login)
• Password (hashed with bcrypt, used only for Auto Swiper account authentication)
• API authentication token (Laravel Sanctum bearer token, stored locally on your browser/device) used to authorize requests to our backend
• Subscription status (active plan, renewal date) — billing and payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe; we never see or store your card details, billing address, or transaction records

Important: We do NOT collect or store your login credentials for third-party dating platforms (Tinder, Bumble, etc.). The extension operates within your browser session on these platforms.

Website Data

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across websites. The following aggregated data is collected:

• Site visits and page views
• Referrer (which site sent you to us)
• Browser and operating system (de-identified)
• Country (derived from IP address; the IP itself is not stored)

Extension Usage Data

• Filter preferences and settings (age range, distance, keywords)
• Swipe statistics (number of likes/dislikes per session)
• Session duration and activity timestamps
• Browser and system information for compatibility

AI Messaging Data

• Match profile information (name, bio, interests) for message generation
• Conversation context (recent messages with the same match) included with the generation request so the AI can craft a contextual reply
• Your messaging preferences (tone, length, custom instructions)
• Generated message content and delivery status
• Message credit usage

Scope: The extension only reads chat messages from the dating-site tab when you actively use the AI messaging feature, and only for the conversation you are currently replying to. We never read or store your wider dating-app inbox, conversations with other matches, or any chat outside the AI generation request you triggered.

Location Data (optional)

• If you choose a virtual location (city name or coordinates) for the extension's location-spoofing feature, that value is stored locally in your browser.
• The extension uses it to override navigator.geolocation on dating-site tabs only — your real device GPS is never read or transmitted.
• Pro and Ultimate users may sync the chosen location to their account so it is available across devices; the value is then stored on our servers alongside your other settings.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Auto Swiper with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:

• Register for an account or subscribe to our services
• Configure your extension or app settings and preferences
• Use the Auto Swiper extension on supported dating platforms
• Use the Auto Swiper Android app on supported dating apps
• Use the AI-powered messaging feature (Ultimate tier)
• Contact us for support or provide feedback
• Use or view our website via your browser
• Download the Android APK from our website

We may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

• Chrome Web Store / Firefox Add-ons / Microsoft Edge Add-ons - Installation and review data for the browser extension
• Stripe - Payment processing and subscription management
• Discord - If you contact us through our Discord channel

Note: The Auto Swiper Android app is distributed as a direct APK download from our website. It is not available on Google Play, so we do not receive any installation or device data from Google.

How will we use your data?

Auto Swiper uses your data for the following purposes:

AI-Powered Messaging Feature

For users who enable the AI messaging feature:

Data Processing

• Match profile data (name, bio, photos metadata, interests) is sent to our servers for message generation
• Recent conversation history (last few messages) may be included for context-aware replies
• Your custom instructions and preferences are applied to personalize messages
• Generated messages are returned to your browser and sent through the dating platform

Data Storage

• Generated messages are logged for credit tracking and service improvement
• Message logs are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted
• Match profile data is processed in real-time and not permanently stored
• Conversation context is used only for the immediate message generation request

AI Processing

• We use OpenAI as our large-language-model provider to generate messages. Your match profile data and conversation context are transmitted to OpenAI's API for the duration of a single generation request.
• OpenAI processes API requests according to its Privacy Policy and does not use API data to train its models by default.
• We do not use your data to train any AI models.

Android App

The Auto Swiper Android app supports Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge through Android's AccessibilityService. The app is distributed as a direct APK download from our website and is not available on Google Play.

Data Collected by the App

• Account credentials (email and Auto Swiper password) used to authenticate with our backend
• Filter preferences and swipe settings you configure inside the app
• Swipe statistics and session activity (used to enforce subscription limits and show your stats)
• Profile data read from the dating app's UI by AccessibilityService — used in-memory to apply your filters and is not transmitted to our servers

Crash and Error Reports

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error diagnostics from the Android app. Reports may include:

• Stack traces and the exception that caused the crash
• Device model, Android version, and app version
• Anonymous installation identifier
• Breadcrumbs (recent in-app actions leading up to the error)

Sentry does not receive your dating-app credentials, profile photos of matches, or message content.

Permissions

The app requests Android's AccessibilityService permission so it can read the dating-app UI and perform swipe gestures on your behalf. It also requires internet access to communicate with our backend. No other sensitive permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, location) are requested.

How do we store your data?

Auto Swiper securely stores your data on servers located in Germany (within the European Union). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

Local Storage (Extension & App)

• Your extension settings and preferences are stored locally in your browser
• Your Android app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device
• Swipe logs and session data are stored locally unless cloud sync is enabled
• Local data remains on your device and is not automatically transmitted to our servers

Server Storage

• Account information is stored in encrypted databases
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt)
• Payment information is processed and stored by Stripe; we do not store credit card details
• Swipe logs from the browser extension and the Android app (timestamp, dating platform, like/dislike counts) are stored on our servers to power your statistics dashboard and enforce subscription limits
• AI messages sent via the AI messaging feature are logged on our servers (generated message text and metadata) for credit tracking and abuse prevention

Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
• Usage Statistics: Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months
• AI Message Logs: Retained for 90 days for credit tracking, then deleted
• Session Data: Retained for 30 days for session recovery, then deleted
• Payment Records: Retained as required by tax and legal obligations (typically 7 years)

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
• Regular security audits and updates
• Secure server infrastructure with firewalls and intrusion detection
